What about "brand new innovation"? One would expect zero results but, guess what?, 744 pages found. Ok, some are legit ("brand new Innovation Center") but not all of them: "...are proud to be launching a brand new innovation...", "brand-new innovation from...", "...is a brand new innovation in the filling machine industry...", etc.

As G keeps growing, MS tries to buy Y! again (a year ago MS did the same move but Y! said no). No big surprise. Quim, do you feel more comfortable with G knowing your social network (BTW http://code.google.com/apis/socialgraph/ ) or your search activity or even your web browsing history (through AdSense)?
Qgil data are already in unpredictable hands, actually (the only predictable hands are one's own).

Put me in the list (=5 sillabes' "verse", btw)
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "& sentence" (in "One word per person & sentence"). I think your example should be reproduced like this:
Winter brings fresh winds (5 sillabes)
memories (3 first sillabes of a 7 sillabes' verse)
Collaborative haikus are difficult because previous contributions to a verse may leave insufficient space for a closing fitting word.

I'm not sure I care too much about the answer to your question, @qgil, at least not more than the question itself. Why do you ask, I wonder.

The interesting thing is that you can't ask your (rethorical) question in the same way about inventions with also great social impact like the wheel: we (from our perspective, many years after the wheel's invention) don't see any dilemma between two things (to win something we must lose something). Will people in the future see a dilemma (shortly: SL vs RL)? Is the Internet different from the wheel?
